The Civil War Gown (Style #1866)

This traditional Confederate gown, with a three-tiered skirt, is offered in two different fabrics. The first version of this gown is made of a delicately embroidered silk organza, available in silk white with pastel or white embroidery, or blush pink with pastel embroidery.

The second fabric we have chosen is a soft, feminine alcenon lace. The gown features a ruffle at the off-the-shoulder neckline which can be won on or off the shoulder. The waist is accented with a boned "waist cincher" made of matching bridal satin.

The boned bodice is cut from our traditional 19th century pattern, and closes with a center back lacing. The shoulders and center front are accented with either soft satin bows or hand-made silk or satin roses. Lined in china silk.

Colors available: white or ivory lace, or silk white organza with either white or pastel embroidery, or blush pink organza with pastel embroidery.
