This unassuming gown was inspired by the lingerie and tea gowns of the early 20th century. The bodice is detailed with a front busk closure and soft delicate sweeps of double-embroidered lace.

The gauzy skirt is the classic "sweep" length: floor length at the front and sides while trailing on the ground in back.

Style #1911 - Custom Historic Bridal Gown

The gorgeous, soft, sweeping lines of this design provide the signature characteristic of this early 20th century gown.

For fabrics, we selected an embroidered net in white over silk charmeuse, which could be ivory or any other soft pastel. The combination of the two sets off the delicate embroidered details of the lace.

Style #1917 - Art Nouveau Wedding Gown

Designed with very simple lines, the drama in this gown comes from the sheer, flowing drapes which fall gracefully over the shoulder and down into themoderate length train.

There are ribbon finger loops, worn around the middle finger, which allow for the sweeping motion of the drapes. For this gown, we have selected a beautiful "burn out silk" (charmeuse/chiffon) called "Devore silk," over silk charmeuse.
